A different kind of monthly writing goal

Happy Summer! My kids (and I) have a week left of school before we’re out until the fall. We are so ready. I have a list of all sorts of things I’d like to do this summer, but that will all take time. If I gave in to the urge, I could spend all my free time writing (that”s basically what happened last summer), but now’s the time where I have to be disciplined enough to limit myself.

So, instead of a minimum writing goal for the next three months, my plan is to only write for a maximum of one hour (maybe 1.5) per day. Most of this time will be focused on Book Three of my fantasy trilogy; but I will also be picking back up on my daily Twitter fiction (which I set aside to participate in StoryADayMay), and an occasional blog post. I won’t be posting as frequently as I did this past month.

Wish me luck!
